Descrição
O CP01 é um projeto em contínuo desenvolvimento de um robô humanoide, o primeiro do Brasil, concebido em 2008 por pesquisadores da UNESP e ITA. O robô foi concebido como plataforma de pesquisa e de divulgação de ciência e tecnologia. Já participou de diversas exposições e apresentações no Brasil e no exterior. O robô foi projetado com um conceito novo dentro da robótica, utilizando o protocolo TORP (The Open Robot Project). Dentre suas características principais estão a modularidade, a reusabilidade e o fato de ser um projeto totalmente aberto (mecânica, eletrônica e software). Foi o primeiro projeto de robô livre conhecido. O robô foi batizado com seu nome por ter sido também o primeiro robô construído dentro da Campus Party Brasil.

- I'm Vice director of the Sorocaba Campus of UNESP 2013-2017
- I'm General Chair of RoboCup 2014, that will be held for the first time in Brazil, as an event supported by Brazilian Sports Ministery and Paraiba State Government
